Rodrigo Gomez Garcia, Universidad Autónoma Metrpolitana-Cuajimalpa

Rorigo Gomez Garcia is a senior lecturer in communication and cultural policies at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana-Cuajimalpa at Mexico City, where he is also coordinator of the Observatory of Industries, Policies and Cultural Consumption. Rodrigo is a former president of the Mexican Association of Communication Research. He was also the research leader in the Mapping Digital Media: Mexico Project, funded by the media program of the Open Society Foundation. Since 2010 he has been the co-chair of the Political Economy of Communication section of the IAMCR. He has authored numerous academic book chapters and journal articles.
